These are individual lawsuits, not a class action or an MDL. The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation denied centralization on April 3, 2025. In 2025 the Church and plaintiffs attorneys reached a confidential settlement in principle covering more than 100 California cases. The Church denies wrongdoing and has not been found liable in the cases that remain pending.
